Does anyone know what you should torque the bolts for the alloy wheels of a 96 850 thanks

Discount tire uses 80 ft lbs on all wheels. 850

It is 81ft/Ibs NOT 91.....but don't take our word for it. Check with your manual and/or any Volvo dealership.

Yup, my bad, it's 81 not 91--however 10lbs is not really a problem. Getting them evenly torqued is a significant issue as unevenly tightened bolts are one of the major causes of rotor warps...

Stopped by Discount tire today to have my wheels balanced. They used an air wrench to snug the lug nuts back on. Then the technician looked up the torque setting in a book and took his MANUAL torque wrench, set it at 81lbs and tightened all of the lug nuts the old fashioned way... correctly!

Happy, Happy. They have a repeat customer.
