2001 s40 No Power bogs down S40-V40

Its a 2001 S40 turbo and the only code that is coming up is po128 which means coolant thermostat the turbo is fine and the exhaust is clear ,when the car is floored it goes nowhere but it idles fine any help would be appreciated thanks

    If your coolant is too cold, your computer will assume your engine is cold and give you little air and lots of gas(runs rich). Sounds like you either need a new thermostat or temp sensor switch, or both.

    It's probably time for new plugs anyway.

    Have you changed your spark plugs recently? I had this problem and it was resolved by installing properly gapped Volvo spark plugs. Bosch Platinums did not resolve the problem.
