splash shield/guard price V70-XC70 1998

so I pulled my newly purchased 1998 V70 AWD into my parking spot, and hit the parking stoper, snaging my splash guard without realizing it. When I pulled away, the splash guard was pulled off the car. I'm having a heck of a time trying to find a replacement for this on the internet/local used parts stores. Can anyone give me a good estimate on what this will cost or a good place to find it? The car is a present for my Fiance when she gets home from a trip on Thursday, and I would like to have it fixed asap. Thanks for any help/advice you have.

Mark

Man, I've looked all over the place trying to help you find one of these. I think you can safely say that it's not listed as a "part" anywhere on the internet, so I believe calling one of these junk yards is one of your best bets. The day your fiance comes back is quickly approaching I know.

Please report back as to what you found, or what you did.

I've looked and looked for this item. VADIS doesn't even list it. Either a dealer item or yes, like said before, a junk yard item. 850's should fit as well, so there may be many out there.

    Good luck!

    Mark,

I think you are going to need to order a new one from a Volvo dealer unless you are in a city with a serious junk yard that has a bunch of V70s or S70s. But, consider what condition the shield on a wreck might be. The previous driver probably also occasionally hit curbs. If the reason the car is in the junk yard is that the front got smashed, the shield is probably a mess, also. I bought one in 2000, and it was $65 then. Good luck.

I did something similar but drilled me a new hold and bolted it back on. How bad is it ripped?
