OBDII code 'P0108 Manifold Absolute Pressure.....' V70-XC70

Greetings everyone,

My first post. I have a 1998 V70 T5. Once in a while I was getting a OBDII code "P0108 Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input", but I would clear it and it would be months before it came back on.

This morning, the light came on and I tried to clear it, but it kept comming back on immediately. It will not clear.

Could this be just a sensor? I was stopped in traffic idleing when I tried to clear it and it kept comming back on.

Any advice?

Thanks,
David

    Hi David,

The MAP sensor should be located around the area of the washer filler. Try unplugging it and check to make sure there is no corrosion on the plug.

If you end up needing a new MAP, it could get pricey. I want to say they go for $150+ US.
