How to replace rear wheel bearing 850 1997

Hi All,

I would like to know from the experienced who had replaced their rear wheel bearing and need to know to what tools are needed and would appreciate if you could give me the steps on how to replace this part. I have replace rotors and break pads for the front and rear except the rear bearings. Thanks for all your help.

How to replace rear wheel bearing 850 1997

I have yet to see an 850 rear wheel bearing go, but that's just me. I would suspect something else, such as a front wheel bearing or funky tire wear. If the wheel bearing needs replacing, experience beyond brake pads might be necessary. Tools I might imagine needing for this project might be: a strong 1/2" drive impact gun, air chisel/hammer, bearing press or ball joint press, oxy-acetelyne torch set-up, many four letter words and a six pack. Think twice before you go at something that might not be the problem.
