New Rotors, New Pads, New Vibration! V70-XC70 1998

A few weeks back I installed new front rotors and pads on a '98XC. Ever since, I get a slight but noticeable vibration when braking at speeds over 50mph or so. There is no pulsation from the brake pedal or shaking felt through the wheel. It sort of feels like a rumble through the car.
Today, I took everything apart and checked it out. The rotors have less than .0005" runout and I made sure the mating hub surfaces were absolutely clean. I sanded the rotor surfaces to give them an omnidirectional finish. Everyhing was tight and all it looked in order. I put everything back together and went for a drive. I still get the same vibration!!
My other car, a '99 V70 got the same work done at the same time and it is as smooth as could be. I used Zimmerman rotors and PBR pads on both cars.
I'd appreciate advice from anyone who has experienced a similiar problem. Could it be that I just got a bad rotor? Thanks for your assistance.

Write a nice letter to whomever you got the rotors from. Perhaps they will pay to have them turned locally.

I had the same issue / problem when I did the front on my 850T. I ended up pulling them and having the brand new rotors resurfaced/turned. The shop that resurfaced them indicated that if they are stored on end, not flat, when shipped, they will warp.

Once resurfaced/turned, all has been well.
