I wish to replace my volvo radio/cassette/cd unit with a Sony radio/minidisc unit. Does anyone have details of the wiring (colour codes/functions) for the wiring loom to the existing radio please?

1. take a look at the available aftermarket connectors--plug right into your factory harness without cutting and splicing any original wires, and eliminate the "wire color " guesswork. See, e.g., Crutchfield's, or Scosche, or Metra

2. use the search function -- this is a frequent topic, with one car or another, and the answers tend to be pretty much the same.
