DTC probs. No A6 codes 850 1994

1994 850 turbo wagon. Trying to read DTC codes and clear check engine. I can read 111 or other codes from A1, A2, A3, and A7. But attempts to check A6 produce nothing. I checked the wire in the block and it looks OK. Also tried disconnecting the battery for 45 minutes. Also removed the two computers by the DTC block. Nothing makes a difference. Any advice?

Also, there is a connector labeled OBDII on the console under the coin holder. Has anyone tried that in a 1994? (It may go with the Tracs and ABS). Could I use a scan tool to clear the codes?

Well, after reading other posts, it appears my B5234T engine with Motronic 4.3 doesn't use A6. So I've now managed to reset the other A codes.

Still interested in anyone using an OBDII scanner on this car. The pocket data book says I have OBDII emissions option.

My '95 Turbo has the OBDII port and it works fine. I think it was a mid-'94 add on with the Turbo models. Try it and see.

Can you view and clear all of the DTC codes or just the EPA-defined emissions codes?
