ignition switch problem 850 1995

Have 850 glt 145,000, recently will not shift out of park unless i jiggle the position of key. Also recently turn signals failed unless key positioned was slightly moved. Could this be the ignition switch or the ignition cylinder. Thank You in advance for any suggestions.

It is the switch plate behind the lock cylinder. Fairly easy fix, the hardest part is removing the 4 torx screws.

I wonder if this could be related to the dash panel lights.

My ignition switch was replaced a few years ago....but it burnt up.

Try volvospeed.com for info on replacing the electrical portion of the ignition sw. Piece of cake
