gear lock shift.. have to press button every time 850 1994

Every time I am in part the shifter lock up.. so I have to press the shiflock override button .. to put it in gear.

any one know how to fix ?? detail instrution ?? how long it take and part I need to buy thank

car is 1994 850 turbo.

Hi,

I took my 850 turbo to the dealer with same problem and they fixed it no charge as there was a recall for that issue.I think it is a switch actuated by the brake pedal that stops working.
