BLOWN ENGINE 850

MY WIFE'S 1995 855t radiator connector snapped, blowing out all coolant and frying motor. what is the car worth as is? 109.000 miles very good condition(otherwise) new tires, brakes, suspension, and with intternal baby seat(rear) and third seat. Who would buy it and for what reasonable price?

Might sound either tedious or ambitious, depending on your outlook, but I bet you'd get a lot more for it by parting it out on eBay rather than selling it as a whole car.

Heck, if it were near me, that's exactly what I'd do.

Where are you located Tom (e.g. what state, town)? Are you the original owner? What shape is the body and interior in? What is the color (interior/exterior)? -John

It is not worth a great deal unfortunately. You say that it is clean otherwise, I would consider calling a few Volvo specific bone yards. It is worth something just for the front and rear clips. I see my customers buying 8-10 old 850's with 100-150K on them for an absolute song anymore. In fact a late model 940 will bring easily as much or more than an 850 of the same year model in my area. Let's hope for your sake your area is different but the bottom line really is that the motor is fried and it will not be worth a whole heck of a lot, sorry to hear about that.
