Door Sills V70-XC70 1998

I've got a 1998 V70 AWD that I want to put stainless door sills on. I know that they were standard on the same year's R model, but am concerned that they may not fit. Has anyone replaced/added stainless Volvo door sills to their V70?? Thanks.

I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't fit.

Our '99 V70R and C70 both have them. They look nice, but there's nothing about them that indicates to me that they weren't just stuck on the basic 70-series door frame.
