Replacing 1993 850 Headlight lense drivers side... 850 1993

I'm new to the forum and looking for a diagram of some sort to guide me through replacing my headlight lense for 1993 850. I can find two clamps, one on top and then one on opposite side of the turn signal. That would be as far as I can get? Thanks in advance for help....

**not a good day for me as smoke came through my vents on way home from work just after cranking up and a/c quit working, just blowing hot air. (had the smell of a woodburning kit--I know that's not a good sign) :(

Hi Skew11....

If you go to this site....

http://www.volvospeed.com/volvo_performance.php

click on "modifications" on the left hand side of the screen, then scroll down to the section about "E-code lenses", your question should be answered.

Good luck

Are you replacing the entire light? I have the same model with a cracked lense as well. The dealer told me that on the 1993 you couldn't just replace the lense itself but had to buy a whole new light at a cost of $300.00! It has, needless to say, stayed cracked.

Check this page....

http://fcpgroton.com/volvo850lamps.htm

They list headlight lenses for 93-94 at $110.00
I don't know if that's a good price or not, but at least you know that the part exists.... :)

Good luck
