Hi guys,

Thanks in advance for any help.

My problem; a few weeks after having my aircon recharged sucessfully it has stopped working. I thought at first it was just a blown fuse, but after checking the fuses that correspond to the a/c all were fine.

When the aircon is switched on, every five seconds a single 'click' is heard from the engine bay and the engine revs dip, but no aircon.

The clicking (I think) is coming from a large bosch motor under the power steering fluid intake.

To describe the 'click' it is like the click from the ignition position that provides power to the dash lights. (if that helps LOL)

    That click you hear is the compressor clutch engaging. You may be low on 134a which means there is a leak somewhere. If it is a slow leak, buy several cans with stop leak additive. If the pressure is good, but the car still gets hot, find out if the fan is engaging to cool the radiator.
