I need to remove the turbo from a 97 850 wagon. How hard is it and where do I start. I am sending it of to be rebuilt by Turbo City, I was qouted $ 275 to rebuild the unit. That seemed very reasonable to me. I just have to remove it and send it to them.

    You would be best off to get a manual from either Volvo or a Haynes. It is not a bad job, but there are many steps to it. Might take a couple of hours and the pictures I saw were worth many thousands of words.
