Engine System Service Required S80 2001

This message appears from time to time. It also goes away after some time. Why is this message appearing? It's very annoying. When I took the car in for service last month, I told them of this message. I got the car back and no message. I assumed they took care of the problem or reset this error message. A week later it reappears. I hate having to make another trip to the dealer.

Reminder that your computer thinks it's time to change your oil. Not sure the interval on your car, but I would assume 5K or 7.5K miles. If you changed your oil recently, the tech at the dealer forgot to reset this.

The 7500 service light that comes on always said something different. This is the first time I saw this message. Does it mean something else?

Then it must be the same as a Check Engine light. I would go to PepBoys or Autozone and have them read your codes. Probably not something too serious, but it could be.
