bought V8 3 weeks ago, today decided to check fluids and could not find tranny dipstick, no word in the manual about tranny fluid.
Anyone?

Also, anyone knows who makes that 6-speed electronic- geartronic transmission. The window sticker says it is made in Japan, as the engine. The engine is from Yamaha, and transmission?

Transmission (like all Volvo transmissions, other than the 4-speed GM used in the S80s & XC90s using the T6 engine) is made by Aisin Warner.

It is a sealed unit w/no dip stick.

If it it sealed, how do they (dealer) do the recommended fluid change at 60K miles? It must have drain and fill plugs then.
