1998-2000 V70 bulb kit for front turn signals V70-XC70

Apparently, there is a retro-fit kit available at Volvo dealers to replace the wedge type bulb with the barrel-knob type, along with a new black socket.

This is designed to resolve the overheating issue with the old socket and wedge bulb that impacted many V70 & S70 owners. This results in frequent bulb failures due to heat at the contact area, rather than the filament failing.

Be sure to check with your dealer about this kit. Don't have any price on it, but it should be free with all the trouble the bulb failures have caused.
