I downshifted today to "3" and the arrow started blinking and CEL came on. Drove back home in "D" and read 3-2-2 and 1-1-4 under A1, 1-1-1 under A2, didn't read A3. I tried to reset the CEL using A2, press for 5 sec, light on, press for 5 sec, light off, press again, light back on (found on web, one person said 8 sec, not 5).

The blinking arrow is gone, the transmission seems to be fine (drove 100 miles after incident) but the CEL stays on. Also, the reset procedure did not go as expected. When I press the button for 5-8 sec, nothing happens (light does not come on). Of course if I only press for 1-2 sec, the 1-1-1 comes out.

I came back home, and I now get A1, 1-1-4 and A3, 2-1-4
(My guess is the reason reset procedure did not go as expected as there are still faults?)

A1 1-1-4 Program selector open circuit or short circuit to supply
A3 2-1-4 Right rear wheel sensor, no signal on moving off

Could the ABS code have been there without triggering the CEL? My main question is, does anyone have a clue as to what I may have done to the tranny computer and/or how I can fix it? Car runs like always but that light is bothersome! Thanks a lot, Don '95 854T
