Steering wheel vibration 850 1995

Happens when braking from 50 mph or above, when need to stop/ slow down quickly. If brakes applied gently -no problem. If braking from 30 mph or below -no problem. There seem to be no vibration from the brake pedal. Anyone w/ clues?
