05 V70_ recommended? V70-XC70 2005

Hi,
Just got back from a trip East & rented a 05 V70 for five days so had an opportunity to really check it out. My wife has a 95 850T wagon which she likes but is talking about getting something newer.
Generally, we really liked the V70 tho` I found that merging into high speed traffic that it really didn`t have the juice to "fly". Definitely, we`d have to get a turbo. Other than that we were impressed, improved instrumentation & placement.
