I have a '95 855T. I bought the car with 69k miles on it about 2.5 years ago. September of '04 the transmission went up with about 90k miles on it and I had it replaced with a factory rebuilt transmission. It cost about $3000 and came with a 12 month warranty. Here I am 2 months after the warranty has expired and 100k miles on my car and I am told that my transmission is bad again. My mechanic has put a call into Volvo to see if they can not extend the warranty. I'll probably know something tomorrow. Obviously, I'm extremely bummed. I definitely drove the car hard in the beginning, but once I had the tranny replaced a year ago I've taken it easy. Am I just extremely unlucky? Anyone ever have to replace their transmission twice?

P.S. If Volvo does not cover the part, I'm kicking the 850 to the curb.
