Need source for spare tire 850 1995

Today I discovered that my spare's tread has separated and the steel wire is visible. It has been used but wasn't this way when I stowed it last time round. I know I could call around to salvage yards but was wondering if anyone knew of an online source of the space saver spares. I don't need a new wheel, just a tire. Is there some reason I've never seen the tires available separately?
