Is the redesigned S40 that came out in mid-2004 the same as the 2005 model? I have found articles that mention the mid-year change but they don't make reference to any changes in evaluation of the mid-year vehicle. Was it just a redesigned body?

My daughter is interested in moving from her 95 850 to a newer car. We are trying to find out if she can look at the mid-2004 model or should she only look at the 2005 model. She is firm in her preference to not get an early 2004.
