Radiator Leak Part Deux S70 1998

OK. My wife took the car to the local Sears Automotive to find out where the leak was. They claim that the "pipe" (I didn't think cars had pipes, but maybe this volvo does) going into the engine that the hose from the water pump attaches to is corroded and leaking. Any thoughts?
