850 driver seat belt stuck 850 1996

the other day I slammed on the breaks hard and now my seatbelt wont retract. It's stuck. Is there a way to reset it. I seem to rememeber someone posting something about uncoiling it and something about a pin. Does anyone remember those pics and/or if not - where I could get a used one? gRRRRRR
