If the lamps in your dash switches have burned out and you don't want to pay the $6 each dealer prices for the whole bulb assembly, then visit Radio Shack and ask for the 12 volt Micro Lamp (#7219; 272-1092). You get two of these for $1.49 and they are direct replacements for the bulbs used on the switches. Replacement is fairly easy. You can pry the switches out with a small screwdriver from the top of the switch; just use care to avoid scratching the switch or your panel. The headlight switch can be removed by removing the fog lamp switch to the right of the headlight switch and using your fingers to push the headlight switch out from the back. The headlight switch uses two lamps. The bulb assembly screws out with a quarter turn with a small screwdriver. Remove the burned out bulb from the bulb assembly and wrap the wires the same way they were originally.
