Electrical problems on an S70 S70 1998

Hello all - just purchased my first Volvo, a 98 S70 GLT. I got a great deal on the car, mainly because it needed some work done to it. I have everything on the car sorted out, save for four items - the ABS/TCS, Power Windows, Gas Tank Lid and Power Mirrors. For the ABS/TCS I've already sent an email to Vic, being as he seems to be the global expert. As for the rest... I'm stumped.

Being as all my problems seem to be connected to the driver's door panel, I removed that, checked to ensure all the wires were connected, etc, etc.

Windows/Locks:
I didn't recieve a master switch for the window controls, but using a strand of wire I was able to connect it to the black wire on the window control and lock/unlock the doors. I was unable to get any of the windows to move, and I'm praying that the reason for this is that the window lock has to be a closed circuit for the motors to actuate.

Power Mirror Switch:
I wasn't able to get anything out of the mirrors. Once again I tapped into the black power line and tried to feel around all the other wires to get some type of movement, but no such luck. When this failed, I decided to open the switch up to see what type of condition the pcb board was in - as I assumed, the contacts were pretty well eroded.

Gas Tank Lid:
Using the wire again, I could tap into the power going into the trunk/gas lid switch and get the trunk to open, but was unable to get anything out of the motor for the gas lid.

If anyone could help me trouble shoot these items I would be extremely grateful - as it is, I'm fresh out of ideas. Thanks in advance.
