PLASTIC TRANS dipstick...to change or not to change V70-XC70

I have read broken trans dipstick.
Mine looks fine but called dealer. It is not too bad about $14.

QUESTION for all the folks here:

1. Should I change it?
2. Any aftermarket company selling metal dipstick?
