DIY brake pads 850 1996

I think my pads are in need of replacement. I am not sure about the rotors, but the surface looks pretty good. Is this a fairly easy DIY job, or something best left to the pros? I have done pads on a couple other cars, but never my 850. I think there is a how-to on Bay13, but I just don't want to screw anything up especially with getting my car to stop!
