For Klaus/Madein Japan--buzzing/vibrating sound behind dash 850

Posted a message about three days ago regarding a buzzing/vibrating noise coming from somewhere behind my dash, but no one has responded yet. Had to send Victor my ABS module three weeks ago, and when I re-installed it a couple of days ago, I noticed the sound. Only at low speeds. Highway speeds you don't hear it. No tell-tale clicking, indicating a tooth gone on a speedo gear. Noise is intermittent, intervals of seconds. Sounds exactly like one of those old worn electric clocks when the bearing starts to go and it makes that off and on again buzzing vibrating sound. Incredibly irrititating.

I have to head back to the States in three days, and won't get another chance to work on this car until I return Christmas or New Year's. Do either of you have any idea what might be causing it? I checked out the heater fan, temp controls, etc., and none of them had any affect. Kind of hard to pin down, but it does sound like right around the instrument panel. Dick
