850 vs. MB 850

I'm currently driving a '97 850 turbo with 140 K. It's in excellent shape and has been a nice, reliable car. Having driven older RWD Volvos for a long time, I still haven't adjusted to this FWD. My mom has a 2000 S70, and I still have an '84 760 T.

The other day, I found a '93 Mercedes 300 E sedan for $4500. Mileage is 135K with all records. It's one owner and in excellent shape. I don't know much about these old Benzes, but I was wondering if anyone here did. I hate to sell the 850, but like the way the older Volvos drive and this MB reminded me of them. Of course, I'm still going to keep my other Volvos if I buy the MB. Any thoughts?
