850 wheel bearing? 850 1995

There is a rubbing/dragging noise in the front right wheel area when making a left hand turn. If this were a rear wheel drive I would say it is a wheel bearing. Any suggestions as to the problem? Is this a job for the home mechanic? Are we talking about CV joint problems or just an outer bearing?
