SRS Airbag light has come on PLEASE HELP!!!! V70-XC70 2001

Fellow Brickboarders,

A warning light has come on our 2001 V70 and it is saying "SRS-Airbag service urgent". It is coming on every time and not disappearing. The car is in for a 75,000 kilometre service in the next 48 hours so I will get them to check this, however will it be safe to drive whilst this is on or is this a precuationary warning light only.

Next question, has anyone's V70/S60 ever experienced this warning light and how much and cause was it to fix.
