My daughter's seat recliner failed yesterday. Fortunately she can still drive it around town.
I went to Bay13 and read their "fix", but isn't there another site that talks about cutting back some of the cable sheathing? The motor spins nicely! Is it usually the cable that gets rounded at the end? I am just asking before I cut the hog clips, because I want to know if I will need to order a new cable first. It appears that there is plenty of cable to cut an inch off and keep it usable.
Will I need to cut the hog clips half way up the front side of the seat? My intention is NOT to remove the seat from the car.
