I've read all of the posts about fixing the front door creak that is supposed to common to 850's. Living here in Brooklyn, we tend to work on our cars in the street (go figure you lucky ones with an actual yard) and I just doj;t have the resources to take the door off, etc, etc. I've just decided to take out the screws holding the door hinge, now it works fine (sort of) for me. My question is, "Will this cause any undo wear and tear on my beautiful 850 Turbo wagon?"
