front caliper springs? 850 1993

My car has a rattle that comes from the front brake calipers. A friend of mine told me it appears I am missing some sort of spring thing that makes them not rattle somehow. At least on his car and everyother car he says has them. I will gladly buy these springs/clips or whatever they are asap, but the problem is I have no idea what they are or what they are called. This has been a long standing issue with this car, I have replaced EVERYTHING on the front end of this car and I am not kidding so I know the rattle comes from the calipers. If you move them around they clank. The pins were replaced and that didn't help. If anyone knows what the magical springs are called, please let me know.
