A local GM dealer had the best price on detailing (at least that I have
found), so I took my S60 T5 there before taking off early tomorrow for the
Kansas City Midsommar meet. (Thanks, KC Club, you guys are GREAT!!)

When I got the car back some 6 hours later I was not very happy with the
finish on the hood - looked like it still had bug spots on it. The guy came
out with more wax and showed me that the spots were actually craters in the
paint (high speed impact with bugs??) He wiped a bit and it looked a little
better. Later this evening I noticed that I needed to fill the tank, and when
I opened the gas door it came off in my hand and dangled by the elastic cord
from the gas cap. I looked at the door and noticed that it had one wire pivot
about 2.5mm diameter and a toggle spring that is supposed to hold it open or
shut. But the plastic clip that it fits into was broken both top and bottom.
The part number seems to be 9483645. There is also another number on it,
18914.
Do any of you know how much of a job it is to fit this part? Does it snap
into holes in the body or what? Is it hard to remove the old part?
