rear seal and breather box S70 1999

Hi, My S70 recently had an oil leak around the cap. The root cause was determined to be excess crank case pressure. The flame trap was replaced and the hoses cleaned but the pressure persisted. The mechanic thought it could possibly be the breather box which was plugged and required replacing. Of course I didn't do it right away and now I have another leak which seems to be the rear main seal. This time it was checked by a different technician who says it is breathing fine. Is a leaking seal enough to relieve excess crankcase pressure? If I have to replace the rear main seal, should I have them do the breather box at the same time? Would this reduce the labor charge of doing them seperately?
Any help is appreciated! Tracy
