Question about euro 'jewel' headlights S70 1998

Hello from the 200 forum. I was going to post this on the C70 forum, but it seems really, really dead--I mean DEAD! Only two posts! Anyhow, my friend and his gf recently got an S70 T5, and he mentioned wanting to put on the "clear" headlights from the C70. What year did the C70 come out with the clear/jewel glass headlights? Are they a direct fit to the S70? He said this guy has them on his S70.
