Front wheel hum S70 1998

Since removing the winter tires myself and installing all-seasons there has been a very noticeable hum coming from the front wheel area, which gets progressively louder as speed increases. Tire dealer says the tires appear OK and thinks its a mechanical issue. Any ideas (bearings...)? How can I nail it down? Thanks.
