After doing lots of trouble shooting for things like odd wiper behavior, shift stuck in park, malfuntioning gas gauge, weird head light stuff and the like, I replaced the electrical half of the ignition switch, as suggested here,but not by my mechanic, and it cured ALL of the above. $60.00 part, easy to do. Don't hesitate. Thanks, Larry
