2003 V40 Grille falling part S40-V40

The grille on my 2003 V40 is falling apart. The car has not been hit or in an accident. I suspect the plastic in the grille is unable to handle Southern Heat and Sun. Has anyone else had this problem and have you been able to get Volvo to replace the grille. I have about 2 more months on the original factory warrantee and looking for any information to help me get this replaced at no charge.
