I'm asking about Los Angeles area new-car Volvo dealers. I'd welcome any comments, good, bad, and so-so, about dealers, to know from whom to buy a new car. It's for my daughter, so she'll be at their "mercy" (I'll be 3,000 miles away, and there's not much I can do over the phone).
I'm not familiar with the area (my daughter is just moving there, and buying a new car as soon as she gets there).
So we're interested in not just the price (over the long run, it's seems not as important as followup care), so we're just as interested in such things as how well are customers and their cars are treated in terms of:
1) having repairs and warranty work done promptly and done right (not having to go back time after time for subsequent attempts at the same problem).
2) being offered a loaner while they work on the car.
3) being able to have the car fixed without waiting weeks for an appointment.
Etc.
Remember, the good, bad and ugly on them is what we need to hear.
