SRS Reset

I have a 97 850 which had the following incident. The mechanic was working on the A/C & had the airbags disconnected. He inadvertently turned on the key. The SRS computer seems to remember detecting a fault & keeps the SRS light on now, even thought all connection are plugged in.

Is there any way to reset the SRS controller short of hooking up an ODB computer to the car?
