Brake squeal again 850

I just pulled the front pads from my 1996 850 and slathered them with the anti-squeal goop. A week later they are screaming again.

I am using PBR organic pads. I have read that only the volvo pads do not squeal. I do not like them, I will not use them.

Anybody solve this problem? I have not had it on any of my other Volvo's.
