Double DIN head unit 850

I was always under the impression that the factory radio opening would accept a double DIN size aftermarket deck, but after navigating Crutchfield.com's wizard for what will fit the car, it tells my that a double DIN won't fit in a '95 850.

Can anyone confirm this?
