Good day to you all. I'm a newbie here on this web site and I'm not having a problem with my 1997 850 Volvo wagon, but with my 1970 5 foot 2 inch wife. She thinks that her Volvo, which has 120,000 miles on it, is way too high and wants me to trade in this car for another car. I keep trying to tell her that these cars, (Volvo's) run for ever or 300,000, which ever comes first. She's not buying it. Please!!! Can someone out there give me some support. The car we have drive like it's new. Yeah, we have the regular maintenance and wierd problems from time to time that any car is gonna need but still, why should I go and spend 30 to 40 grand on a new Volvo when we got one that is find? It just has 120,000 miles on it. Please help me try and explain to her that Volvos do not need to be traded in after 120,000 miles on it. I feel the car is just starting to break in now. Let me know what you all think. Thank you in advance. Regards, Gary.
