Tailgate plastic cover

Hello All,

Just the other day my inside plastic tailgate cover started to come loose. It appears to be the usual 855 problem. My question is what's the best way to repair this?

IDP has a repair kit, but I am not sure if that is the best way to go. Let me know what you think.
