How can I get into my car - it's locked and the key doesn't work in the door itself. Only the remote has worked with the power locks since I bought it. Actually, the interior switch on the door works.

Do I need to get in with a slim jim or something to pull the lock up?

Could I hook up a battery - say negative to chassis and positive to starter cable just long enough to puch the unlock on the remote? Car is manual and in neutral.

Is there an easy way to get into the hood area and release the hood cable?
